As I am both a Usui and Karuna® Reiki Master & Teacher, I utilize both styles and techniques in my Reiki Treatment sessions.  A regular Reiki treatment session lasts from 45-60 minutes, depending on the needs of the client.

Please note if you unable to pay, but urgently need Reiki treatment, do not hesitate to call me and we will find a solution. For cancer patients, a special discount rate is applied. It is more important for you to get help and treatment then to restrain from it due to some financial difficulties. I can come to your hospital /hospice bed if you request it.  Hospice visits are always free of charge. 


Reiki Classes:

Reiki is traditionally taught in three levels. Each of these levels differs by the amount of Reiki energy the student is able to transmit, the different techniques used with each level, as well as the type of attunement. An attunement, which lasts a lifetime, gives the student the ability to transmit Reiki through their hands. A person cannot give Reiki without a Reiki attunement from a Reiki Master.

Usui Reiki I is an introduction to Reiki which includes the history of Reiki, techniques, the Reiki Ethic, practice doing Reiki on yourself and others, its various uses and the Reiki level I attunement. Upon completion of the workshop, students will be able to use Reiki as an ongoing tool for themselves, others, animals and plants. Students receive a notebook, certificate, suggested practices to augment their Reiki training, and continued support from me to help them get the most out of their Reiki training.

Usui Reiki Level II contains a brief overview of Reiki Level I with a focus on any areas the student feels the desire to study more in depth. Students will be taught and attuned to three of the Sacred Usui Reiki Symbols and learn their various uses. Several Japanese Reiki techniques will be learned and students will have the opportunity to practice on themselves and others. Students will receive a notebook, certificate, suggested avenues for further growth, and continued support from me to help them get the most out of their Reiki training.

Usui Reiki Master/Teacher is divided further into Reiki III (Advanced Reiki Techniques-ART) and Reiki Master/Teacher. In Reiki III/ART, the student learns various advanced techniques, but does not learn the ability to pass an attunement or to teach. This level is designed for the individual that wants to work with Reiki at a higher level, but has not felt the calling to teach Reiki. The Reiki Master/Teacher is specifically for a student that is called to make Reiki an integral part of their life’s mission. Traditionally, Reiki Master/Teacher involves a 1 year internship with a Reiki Master/Teacher. If you are interested in Reiki III/ART or Reiki Master/Teacher, please e-mail me.

Karuna® Reiki can be defined as the Reiki of Compassion. It can only be taught to individuals who have previously attained the level of a Reiki Master/Teacher and has experience at the Master level.  The typical experience of Karuna® Reiki students and practitioners is that Karuna® Reiki is stronger and heals more deeply than Usui Reiki.   Karuna® Reiki Level 1& 2 provides the student with the tools necessary to make Karuna® Reiki an integral part of their healing sessions.  Karuna® Reiki Master allows the student to teach and attune others in Karuna® Reiki.
